An investigation has been launched against fake IDs and bogus appointments of some teachers and non-teaching employees in the district, who have been listed in the government’s payroll for many years. From 2012 to 2025, some employees had enrolled in the Shalarth system on the basis of approval received from the education officer, and now a thorough verification of all those records is underway.

There are about 8 thousand teaching and non-teaching employees working in the district. Many have registered themselves in the Shalarth system by creating fake school IDs on the basis of bogus approval from the education officer or deputy director. Hearing this, one is actually surprised and disappointed – despite having fake IDs, salaries were being taken for years and the concerned officials were ignoring this.
Education Department Orders
The School Education Department has decided that the files of all employees appointed from November 7, 2012 to July 7, 2025 will be checked. Instructions have been given to upload appointment orders, joining reports, and relevant officer orders on the Employee Corner in Shalarth 2.0. Shalarth registration approval letter will also be demanded for appointments after November 18, 2016. Whereas, separate orders will be issued for employees appointed before November 7, 2012.
